Toni Gonzaga pregnant with 1st child—report

Actress and singer Toni Gonzaga is pregnant according to a report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep.ph) on Thursday.

The report cited a source supposedly belonging in the inner circle of the Gonzagas.

Gonzaga married director Paul Soriano last June 12, 2015 after years of being in a relationship.

In an interview last July 2015, Gonzaga said that she won’t be definitely pregnant while taping the upcoming teleserye “Written in Our Stars.”

The actress said that she is committed to her work.

“I gave my word to the show and my commitment to the show kaya tatapusin namin  ‘yun (so I will finish that)… Marriage taught me so much about commitment. And when you’re committed to someone, you will do everything para ma-fulfill ‘yung commitment mo (to fulfill your commitment),” Gonzaga said.

However, in a Kris TV interview last January, the couple said they are planning to have their baby in the first part of 2017.

Gonzaga and Soriano have yet to issue a statement on the supposed pregnancy of the actress. AJH/RAM
