Former Japanese AV (adult video) actress Maria Ozawa has finally met the woman everybody thinks she resembles–Filipino actress Angelica Panganiban.

“The other day we had a show called ‘Banana Split’. And then she was there,” Maria spoke of Angelica on Sunday in an interview after the world premiere of her movie “Nilalang”, together with the veteran action star Cesar Montano.

“It was my first time in ten years that I saw her. She’s like my doppelganger. She’s so sweet. I love her,” said Maria.

Maria said Angelica was also so happy to see her. “She was like ‘Oh my God you’re my double…you are my double in life’.”

She was also open to doing a film with the Kapamilya actress.

“Definitely we had to be sisters. Actually we are talking if we could do something together,” she said.

Maria has enjoyed making her first movie in the Philippines because of the overwhelming love and support of her Filipino fans. She also looks forward to having more projects in the country.

“I heard in the Philippines that love triangle or mistress movies are really famous so I like to try it,” she said. “I would also love to try a comedy and love story.
