‘MasterChef Asia’ finale on Lifetime
“MASTERCHEF ASIA.” Reality cooking showdown crowns its first winner on Dec. 10
Who will be crowned the first winner of “MasterChef Asia?” The reality cooking showdown reaches its finale on Lifetime at 9 p.m. on Dec. 10. Catch-up episodes will be telecast on Dec. 5 and 6, starting at 11 a.m.
Also coming to a close on Lifetime is “Zoo,” the thriller based on James Patterson’s book about animals gone wild. The finale telecast will be aired at 10 p.m. on Dec. 24.

‘Christmas from the Heart’
At 9 p.m. today, Jeepney TV telecasts “Ryan, Ryan Musikahan: Christmas from the Heart.” The third revival special of Mr. C’s iconic musical show was staged for the benefit of the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth, and featured the Ryan Cayabyab Singers, Piolo Pascual, Nikki Gil, Klarisse, the UST Singers and Ogie Alcasid. The show will also air on Cinema One at 10 p.m. on Dec. 6 and on Lifestyle at 10 p.m. on Dec.12.
‘The Jesus Code’
What happened to Jesus Christ after his death? “The Jesus Code,” airing on the History channel at 9 p.m on Dec. 21, seeks to answer that key question, using state-of-the-art technology and experts in science, history and theology.
Also on History: “Heart of Taiko” at 10 p.m. on Dec. 13, on traditional Japanese synchronized drum playing, and “The Storage Wars Christmas Special” at 8 p.m. on Dec. 24.
Rotary bazaar
The first Rotary Club Christmas Bazaar will be held by Rotary District 3810 on Dec. 12 and 13, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the SMX Convention Center to raise funds for the district’s End Polio campaign and other community service projects. Exhibitors may call 779-8727 for details.

On Dec. 6 at 10 p.m., Discovery channel replays the groundbreaking documentary, “Racing Extinction,” which exposes the underworld of illegal trafficking in endangered species, and the race to prevent mass extinction.
