A lap dance and a drunk
MANILA, Philippines—Most of the revelers had left the party, except for a few rowdy drunks, said a mole. Flirty Stud pulled a prank on Handsome Newcomer who’s rumored to be gay: a lusty lap dance! HN turned beet reed. But FS was shocked by HN’s next move. HN pulled down FS’ pants and had his way with the stunned bully, right there.
Drunk on the ramp
Imported Hunk got in trouble with the security at a top venue recently. A mole said IH had one drink too many before the start of a fashion show. He reeked of alcohol and made the mistake of lighting up backstage — a no-smoking area. Security threw IH off the premises.
Lady of inexplicable means
Friends wonder how Feisty Actress can afford her luxurious lifestyle. FA rents an upscale condo unit that could burn a hole in a mere mortal’s pocket. And she’s unemployed! Perhaps she has saved enough for a rainy day? Not really, a source said, “She borrowed money from a friend recently.”
Backstage reunion
At the Urian Awards, former sweethearts Meryll Soriano and Joem Bascon had an unexpected reunion. A former Urian winner herself, Meryll was beaming after Joem won best supporting actor. “I greeted him backstage,” she recounted. He told Rushes, “We said ‘Hi’ and ‘Hello.’ It was quick and simple, but it was meaningful, too.”

“Intrigues are part of my job,” he said, and dared his purported “victims” to tell the whole story. He said his only regret about the whole episode was “stressing out” his mom, Bing Pimentel.
In his acceptance speech, he asked his mom if she was proud of him. From the audience, Bing screamed, “Yes!” Asked for his reaction to that, he told us later, “I felt like the best son in the world.”
Country face-off
As Vote for the Worst predicted, Haley Reinhart was sent packing on Friday (Manila time), leaving “country” teens Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery to duke it out at the “American Idol” finale.
Now VFTW, the anti-“Idol” site, is torn between Lauren and Scotty: “He is terrible and hilarious; she wears the worst clothes.” This year, the site declared, “Bad singing wins!” Of the barbs the site unleased this week, the prickliest was the one for Haley: “Her fall… this shouldn’t be happening in the semi-finals of anything except maybe the Looking Stupid Olympics.”
Harsh, huh?
