‘Bwaya’ competes in Poland film fest

JOLINA España in Francis Xavier Pasion’s “Bwaya”

Francis Xavier Pasion’s “Bwaya” will compete in the 9th Five Flavors Film Festival in Warsaw, Poland, from Nov. 12 to 20. “Bwaya” won best film in the New Breed section of Cinemalaya in 2014. According to its site, the Five Flavors fest presents “an overview of the… latest and most appealing films from East, Southeast and South Asia, along with classics and retrospectives.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
