Vina Morales has found a new love
SHE IS FLATTERED that her costar once found her attractive.
Actress Vina Morales has a reason to smile these days.
She recently admitted that she’s dating a French businessman, whom she declined to name.
“I’ve been single for a long while now. After seven years, I’ve finally found a man who makes me happy,” she told the Inquirer.
She met the mystery guy at a party hosted by former Ilocos Sur Gov. Chavit Singson.
“I’m not yet ready to share a lot of details about him. I can only say that he’s special to me. We get along really well,” said Vina, adding that the guy has already met her family, including her daughter Ceana. “I’m glad that they all get along well,” she said.
At work, there’s also a new man in Vina’s life.
She admitted it took a while for her to feel comfortable with onscreen partner Richard Yap in the series “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita.”
“In the beginning, I found Richard to be too formal and serious. I later realized that he is actually a funny guy,” Vina said of her costar in the afternoon ABS-CBN series which will air its final episode in two weeks. “Although Richard would sometimes crack jokes with the other cast members, he is really very shy.”

In a previous interview, Richard said he already knew of Vina when the actress was only a teenager.
(She first joined the youth-oriented show “That’s Entertainment” in 1987 at age 12.)
He added that he had a crush on her then. Asked to comment, Vina said: “I’m flattered that he once found me attractive. I’m really happy to be given this opportunity to work with him.”
