‘Felix Manalo’ premiere bags 2 Guinness World Records

The world premiere of the biopic “Felix Manalo” has broken two new world records on Sunday.

FEATURED STORIES

Felix Manalo now holds the Guinness World Records for “Largest Attendance For A Film Screening” and “Largest Attendance For A Film Premiere” as 42,624 people attended the premiere.

Guinness World Records representatives Marco Frigatti and Victoria Tweedey confirmed that the Iglesia ni Cristo was able to secure the world records.

The record for “Largest Attendance For A Film Screening” was previously held by Stars and Stripes Honor Flight (USA) for the world premiere of “Honor Flight” in 2012 which had 28,442attendees.

Meanwhile, the record for “Largest Attendance For A Film Premiere” was previously held by “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” where 10,000 people attended its premiere at the O2 Arena in London in 2008.

The film, which has Dennis Trillo and Bella Padilla as its lead actors, will be shown on October 7 in theaters. AJH
