“Comedy Concert Queen” Ai-ai delas Alas has posted an update regarding the latest condition of multi-awarded actor Jiro Manio almost three months after the latter was found nesting at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in Pasay City.
In a post on her Instagram account, delas Alas said that she was elated when she saw the changes in the young actor’s behavior.
She also asked Manio to write letters for his biological Japanese father Yusuke Katakura and his foster father Andrew Manio.
“Visit number 3 — JIRO UPDATE… Ayan nakangiti na sya… Atsaka pinasulat ko letter sa daddy nya sa japan.. And may sulat din sya daddy andrew nya.. Kakatuwa ibang iba na sya konteng konte nalang..,” delas Alas said.

The actress-comedienne, who played Manio’s mother in the hit “Tanging Ina” series, currently serves the young actor’s guardian.
She is one of the celebrities who extended aid for the actor, putting him in a wellness center for rehabilitation.
Delas Alas even launched a search party to track Manio’s biological father in Japan. She is also arranging Manio’s visa application to Japan so he can meet his father.

Last June 30, news about Manio staying at the Naia 3 broke out. An Inquirer report stated that airport personnel chipped in to give the multi-awarded actor food and give him a change of clothes.
Manio then seemed disoriented and denied that he was an actor. AJH/RAM
