There may be some good news on Saturday for fans who have been worried about the abducted Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza.
Senator-TV host Vicente “Tito” Sotto III on Friday hinted at her rescue when asked by reporters at the sidelines of the disqualification case against Senator Grace Poe at the Senate Electoral Tribunal.
“Baka bukas (Maybe tomorrow),” said Sotto, who is a mainstay of the 36-year-old “Eat Bulaga” and is a member of the nine-man tribunal.
He refused to give any more details.
Yaya Dub and matinee idol Alden Richards, who comprise the phenomenal “AlDub” love team, finally met on Saturday after weeks of engaging in a split-screen romance in the show’s hit “Kalyeserye” segment. Their happy meeting, however, was short-lived when Lola Nidora (played by Wally Bayola) drew a wall in between them and Yaya Dub was kidnapped by masked men and hauled her off in a van. IDL
