Louie Ignacio’s “Asintado” will compete in the Harlem International Film Festival to be held in New York from Sept. 9 to 13. “I am happy, excited and very proud to represent Filipino independent filmmakers in an international film fest,” Ignacio told the Inquirer. “Asintado” was part of the Directors’ Showcase section of last year’s Cinemalaya fest.
