Pretty starlet on the verge of switching studios

/ 02:09 AM August 30, 2015

PRETTY STARLET is getting restless. PS wants to jump ship and transfer to another workplace.

Original Studio is determined to keep PS and has pulled out all the stops, offering the moon and the stars.

PS’ handlers are unimpressed, though. They feel PS has already paid her dues and is ripe for the big time.

In the meantime, PS’ career remains in limbo in OS. Supporters think PS’ star would shine brighter elsewhere, any place that is not plagued by in-fighting.

Lazy days

Cantankerous Celeb is feeling lazy these days.

CC is in no mood to work. CC is particularly unhappy about a High-Profile Project with Influential Figure.

CC wants to have HP shelved.

Is it because CC is certain that HP would flop miserably?

Or is it because IF has so far shown no interest in pushing une grande affaire to the next level?

Not in the bag

Pushy Relative told Perky Ingénue not to deny inappropriate rumors about Wealthy Benefactor who is years older.

PP dangled an expensive designer bag that WB would supposedly give to PI. As such, gullible PI went along with the ruse.

Unfortunately, the luxury tote never arrived.

PI went berserk and broke ties with PR. PI felt she was dragged through the muck for nothing.

Nutty

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Staffers of Popular Project are glad they can now take a vacation from Aloof Performer’s irritating mood swings. AP is a certifiable nut case. AP refuses to talk to coworkers and would only nod or shake one’s noggin in reply to questions. AP refuses to hobnob with reporters, too.

Choosy, much?

War of the statements

GMA Network filed a complaint with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) against SkyCable after televiewers took to social media to express disappointment over the loss of GMA 7’s signal before “Eat Bulaga” and/or during the airing of the program’s popular “AlDub”
kalyeserye (street series) segment.

In line with the complaint, the network cited a series of tweets posted from July 19 to Aug. 21, by televiewers from Metro Manila, Cavite, Bacolod, and Iloilo.

The kalyeserye segment features the “accidental love team” of Maine Mendoza or Yaya Dub and Kapuso actor Alden Richards.

On Aug. 22, “Eat Bulaga” registered a household rating of 31.3 percent in NUTAM (National Urban Television Audience Measurement) beating its rival program “It’s Showtime’s” 13.7 percent, according to Nielsen TV Audience Measurement. The episode, which showed the wedding of Yaya Dub to Frankie Arenoli (Jose Manalo), garnered more than 2 million tweets and was praised by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines.

Meanwhile, SkyCable Corp. issued a statement, in response to the GMA 7 complaint.

SkyCable’s statement read in part: “The complaint of GMA 7 with the NTC last Aug. 25… regarding shortchanging our… subscribers via irresponsible acts, is a malicious accusation and is without basis.

“If there were service interruptions that inconvenienced some of our subscribers, these were isolated and would have affected other channels, not only GMA 7.

“Sky is willing to cooperate with the NTC for any investigation they may wish to do regarding these incidents.

“To all our valued customers and stakeholders, we commit to take all necessary measures to give you the best service you deserve and continue working round-the-clock to minimize and immediately resolve any service interruptions in the future.”

Derek’s secret
