Michael Learns To Rock Releases “25”: The Complete Singles

As Michael Learns To Rock continue with their 25th Anniversary celebrations, the band is set to release their biggest and most comprehensive Greatest Hits collection. Titled simply ‘25’, the collection will be available in CD and digital formats from October 25, 2014. This will be preceded by the release of the new single ‘Silent Times’ on September 16, 2014. Fans can immediately own this track when they purchase the pre-order ’25’ on iTunes as an instant-grat track, which commences on September 16 as well.

‘Silent Times’ – one of 2 new recordings in the collection – is written by Wayne Hector (One Direction, James Blunt, Nicki Minaj, Westlife, Olly Murs), Peter Wallevik (Kylie Minogue), Pat Devineand Tommy Gee. The other new song, ‘Call On Love’, is written by the team behind the US #1 hit “Rude” by the group Magic.

Along with these 2 new songs, “25” will feature 23 of Michael Learns To Rock’s biggest hit singles from a multi-million selling career spanning 9 studio albums: ‘The Actor’, ‘Sleeping Child’, ’25 Minutes’, ‘That’s Why (You Go Away)’, ‘Take Me To Your Heart’, including their last single release ‘Any Way You Want It’ taken off “Scandinavia”, the band’s most-recent studio album. All tracks on ‘25’ have been remastered in both ADMS (Audiofile Digital Master Series) for CD and digital formats, and Mastered for iTunes format for Apple’s iTunes.

“25” marks the first time that all of Michael Learns To Rock’s hits are presented in one collection, offering a soundtrack of hits as you walk down memory lane. Kåre Wanscher, drummer / co-founding member of Michael Learns To Rock, shared his views on how proud he feels about “25”, adding that “The collection of songs on this album represents the best of our work during the last 25 years. Listening to the album brings back a lot of memories and makes me confident that it has all been worth it. I hope that listening to this album will also bring you some good memories and great, positive emotions.”

This ongoing 25th anniversary celebrations of the band has already seen the reissue of Michael Learns To Rock’s first 5 album in audiophile format ADMS (Audiofile Digital Master Series) for CD and digital formats, and Mastered for iTunes format for Apple iTunes.

Michael Learns To Rock will be performing at the Araneta Coliseum on September 19, 2015.
