‘Heneral Luna’ in New York

Jerrold Tarog’s historical epic “Heneral Luna” was shown at the 38th Asian American International Film Festival, presented by the Asian CineVision in New York from July 23 to Aug. 1. The Filipino film’s screening was held on July 25 at the Village East Cinema, with lead actor John Arcilla in attendance. A biography of revolutionary Gen. Antonio Luna, Tarog’s film will open in local cinemas on Sept. 9.
