After being grounded in the country for a $1-million estafa complaint, American singer Chris Brown took to Twitter in defense, saying that someone mixed up his name.
“This is a very serious situation and someone needs to be held accountable for mixing my name up in all this. I’ve done nothing wrong!!!” Brown tweeted earlier today.

Brown was supposed to perform at the Philippine Arena on December 31, 2014 for a New Year countdown party but was a no-show. He claimed that he lost his passport on the way to the Philippines.
On Tuesday, Brown staged a concert at the Mall of Asia Arena and was prevented from leaving the country on Wednesday, in compliance with the lookout order issued by the Department of Justice.
“I have nothing to do with anything going on right now. I came back to Manila to do a make up show for New Years. I did the show 3 days ago,” Brown tweeted.
Brown has also posted his rants and breakdance videos, asking authorities to allow him to leave.

A post in his Instagram account was accompanied by the caption “OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,” a call to US President Barack Obama.
