Big Bang duo to release new song in August
Big Bang megastars G-Dragon and T.O.P.’s project duo will release new song in August as part of the band’s ongoing special album “MADE” series, local news reported Thursday.
Since May, the five-member group — composed of G-Dragon, T.O.P., Seungri, Daesung and Taeyang — has dropped two pairs of songs each month under the project album.
The band dropped EP “M” with two songs, “Loser” and “Bae Bae” in May, followed by EP “A” — containing “Bang Bang Bang” and “We Like 2 Party” — in June. In July, EP “D” was released with “If You” and
“Sober.” All six tracks reached the top spots on local music charts immediately after release.
For the last installment “E,” the group will do something different from the previous albums by introducing a song by the duo GD&TOP for the first time in five years. The sub-unit released its eponymous debut album “GD&TOP” in Dec. 2010, with hit songs such as “High High” and “Oh Yeah.”
G-Dragon and T.O.P. are currently shooting the music video for the new song, an industry source was quoted saying in the report.
It is still unconfirmed whether the August EP “E” will include songs only by the duo or by other members as well.
