“Kami. Ganun ka-simple (We are together. It’s that simple.).”
That was the uncomplicated answer of actor John Lloyd Cruz to complicated and persistent rumors that he and girlfriend actress Angelica Panganiban have ended their relationship.
Cruz, in an interview with DZMM’s Karen Davila and Victor de Leon Lima, said the public should not easily believe unverified reports from media or those that surface in the internet.
He also said that what is important is that he and Panganiban are happy.
Reports have surface that the two have already broken up after a newspaper columnist wrote that the two were “due to split up.”
The two neither confirmed nor denied the issue until Cruz has finally spoken.
Amid the breakup rumors, Panganiban offered a sweet message for boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz on his 32nd birthday last Wednesday.
Panganiban shared a photo of Cruz laughing while driving with the caption “I’ll never get tired making you laugh. Happiest birthday my Love.” NC/IDL
