Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano of TV’s “Forevermore” fame admitted Sunday night that they were sharing “something” between them.

Appearing on weekly nighttime show Gandang Gabi Vice, the young actor was asked by host Vice Ganda about his and Soberano’s “body language.”

Vice Ganda said he observed “something” between Enrique and the 17-year-old Filipino-American beauty, referring to an off-screen romance.

The host mentioned showbiz love teams Kathrine Bernardo and Daniel Padilla and James Reid and Nadine Lustre as being observed as having such romance. He then asked Enrique if he and Liza had “something.”

Giving off a nervous laugh, Enrique hesitantly said, “Oo, meron.” (Yes, there is.)

The admission drew cheers and clapping from the live audience, mostly fans of the actor.

Enrique clarified that Liza was “special sa akin” (special to me), but they were not a couple.

“Bawal pa,” (It’s still forbidden) explains Enrique, apparently referring to the age of the actress-commercial model.

He pressed on: “Kahit walang label, basta …” (There are no labels. It just is …)

“May forever,” (There’s forever) Enrique added, making a reference to their recently concluded television series and soliciting more cheers from the audience.

The actor and actress explained that it started when they began shooting for the telenobela in Baguio.

“Locked in kami doon sa bundok at parang na-isolate kami sa lahat,” (We were locked in on the mountain and were isolated from everyone.) Enrique related.

Liza injected, “Naging okay kami, naging close.”

The actor and actress became a daily nighttime fare for many when they played the young lovers “Xander” and “Agnes” of “La Presa,” a fictitional farming community in Tuba, Benguet. It aired over ABS-CBN and The Filipino Channel.
