The verdict is near.
After the top-rating grand final performance show last week, the first grand winner of AXN’s “Asia’s Got Talent” will be announced on Thursday at 8:05 PM.
Among the nine grand finalists are four Filipino acts namely shadow play group El Gamma Penumbra, young singer Gwyneth, hip-hop dance group Junior New System and classical singer Gerphil Flores.
Other finalists include dancers Gao Lin and Liu Xin (China), musicians Khusugtun (Mongolia), dancers Triqstar (Japan), young rock stars The Talento (Thailand) and tap dancers Dance Thrilogy (Singapore).
Hosted by Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez, “Asia’s Got Talent” was dubbed as the biggest talent competition in the world. It has featured amazing acts and excellent performers from 14 countries all over Asia.
The competitors are vying for a prize of US$100,000 and a chance to perform at the Marina Bay Sands, where the semifinal and grand final performance shows were also held.
The show’s judges were multi-awarded musician and producer David Foster, Taiwanese singer Van Ness Wu, Indonesian rock icon Anggun and English singer-songwriter Melanie C.
