JM De Guzman, Jessy Mendiola get back together

It seems that they are fated for each other.
After weeks of dodging rumors about the current status of their relationship, “That Thing Called Tadhana” actor JM De Guzman and actress Jessy Mendiola confirmed that they are a couple again.
In an interview on “Gandang Gabi Vice” which aired on Sunday night, the couple narrated how they reconciled after splitting two years ago.
“Kayo na nga bang dalawa? Nagkabalikan na ba kayong dalawa JM at Jessy? (Are you two a couple? JM and Jessy, are you two back together?),” Vice Ganda asked.
To which De Guzman replied: “Wag mo ako idedeny ah, oo (Don’t deny it. Yes).”
The couple said that they got back together last April 1.
Mendiola said that she and De Guzman saw each other last August while she was jogging at UP Diliman.
De Guzman said that he initially hid from her. On her part, Mendiola ran to her car after talking to De Guzman.
Totoo pala ‘yon, Vice, kapag nakita mo ulit yung taong nasa puso mo, akala mo sa movie lang mangyayari, pero parang nag-i-slowmo ang lahat ng nasa paligid. Totoo siya. (When you see the one you love, everything moves in slow motion. It is true.)”
“Tapos sa kanya lang naka-focus lahat ng attention mo, lahat blurry, lahat slowmo. (Then you focus all your attention to him. Everything becomes blurry and in slow motion.)”
“’Tapos ‘yon na, noong kinausap niya ako, hindi ko na alam kung ano ang sasabihin ko. Kaya ako napatakbo sa kotse ko, (That’s what happened. Then when he talked to me, I don’t know what to say so I ran to my car)” Mendiola explained.
When Vice Ganda asked the Kapamilya actress if she kept her love for the “Tadhana” actor for so long or was it rekindled, she replied: “Akala ko hindi na. Pero noong nakita ko siya ulit, parang bumalik lahat. (I thought that I don’t love him anymore. But when I saw him again, it seems that everything came back).”
The two were last seen holding hands in a fun run held last April 12.
