The journey does not end there, however. For aspirants who did not make it through their regional finals, they were given another shot to join those who auditioned through the mobile app and the RisingStars Philippines website. The mobile audition makes the game-changing concept come into fruition, making auditions readily accessible to anyone – anytime and anywhere.

FEATURED STORIES

From a talented crop of artists, only 8 were fortunate to make it through to the mobile audition finals. Like the previous 29 before them, they are given the privilege of performing in the RisingStars stage, to prove their mettle in front of the panel of judges – Papa Jack, Jimmy Bondoc, and Nina. Only four would make it, to join the 12 who had already advanced to the finals.

The talented duo of Danielle Najaro and Victoria Ingram from Cebu aim to show more than what they’re used to, having been ramp models. Danielle, a member of the band “Glam Girls” wants to break out and gain more experience in the field of music. The perky and curly Victoria aims to become a more holistic performer to inspire others in pursuing their craft.

The lovely ladies from Manila – 19-year-old Duane David and 13-year-old Krezia Mae Toñacao, strive to improve from their previous finishes. Having been part of the regional finals before, they hope to make it through with some improvements gained through their experience in the competition. Joined by the family-oriented women – Julienne Mae Mora and Chiastine Faye Perez, the night is filled with hope and ambition. Julienne, a de facto parent to her siblings, has finally made it through after several auditions. Professional dancer Chiastine, a single mother of two, aims to show more of her talent through her biggest passion – singing.

Rounding up the Top 8 are Vaughn Piczon and Kenzuya Yamamoto, the only male performers of the night. MassCom Student Vaughn has been into the theater scene for almost ten years, and hopes that this would be his key to becoming a star. Kenzuya, lead vocalist of The 7th Theory Band, tries to explore success in his homeland after achieving it all over Southeast Asia.
