Nikki Gil, BJ Albert to tie the knot before year ends

MANILA, Philippines – Actress-singer Nikki Gil will be walking on the aisle before the year ends.

Gil said she would marry her non-showbiz fiancé, businessman BJ Albert, in a traditional Christian church wedding.

“The proposal happened 12, 13, 14 (December 13, 2014),” Gil said in an interview on showbiz talk show The Buzz.
“Na-realize lang ni BJ yun after it happened. Hindi siya intentional. I think the intention lang was to have it happen before we left for Europe for Christmas,” she said.

Gil said Albert and her became a couple in February last year, 10 months before he proposed.

She was asked what made her accept the proposal, and responded:

“It just made so much sense not just in my head but in my heart. It wasn’t like a burning passionate ‘yes’. It was more of a quiet, calm, peace in my heart. It was so clear that it was God arranged,” she said.

Boy Abunda asked further:  “If you find yourself inside the room, and there is Coleen Garcia, and if you are given a chance to tell her one thing about Crawford, what will that be?”

“That he is a good person,” she said.

In 2013, Gil ended her five-year relationship with TV host Billy Crawford allegedly because of third party and Gil’s vow of chastity. Arvin Mendoza
