Mich of Jamich leads Valentine’s Day flash mob for fiancé battling cancer

MANILA, Philippines—As her fiancé continues to battle stage 4 lung cancer, Paolinne Michelle Liggayu, the half of the YouTube sensation Jamich, led a flash mob as a Valentine’s Day surprise for Jam Sebastian in Eastwood City Saturday night.

The video, which was posted on Liggayu’s official Facebook account, shows a sneak peek of the performance with the song “By Chance (You and I)” playing on the background and a slideshow of the couple’s pictures being flashed on a big screen.

Liggayu was thankful for her friends for helping organize a successful surprise for Sebastian. She noted that her fiancé was happy with her surprise.

“SUCCESS!!!! Saya! Thank you so much FETA Travel Depot, Eastwood, Jamich family and my family and friends for making this possible! Galing! Naging happy si Jam Fernando Sebastian sa Valentine surprise natin sa kanya! Woohoo! Apir!!!SOLID!,” Liggayu said.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Liggayu said that Sebastian, who was confined in St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City, saw the performance via Skype.

Liggayu said that her fiancé is feeling better.

“Every night, he (Sebastian) is telling me that his condition is improving and what we are doing for him puts a smile on his face,” she said in Filipino. AJH
