Pacquiao retires from singing
MANILA, Philippines—It’s official, Manny Pacquiao has retired. From singing, that is.
Speaking to the staff of TMZ, Pacquiao said he would officially stop singing after finding out that his love affair with music is unrequited.
“I love music, but I don’t think music loves me,” Pacquiao said on the telecast.
Pacquiao, the only eight-division World Champion in boxing history, was in Los Angeles to promote his new film “Manny.”
“Manny” is a documentary showing Pacquiao’s rise to unparalleled stardom, with “Taken” star Liam Neeson narrating the film.
It was heartbreaking, for Pacquiao, at least, whose first album reached platinum status.
“I stopped singing,” Pacquiao said. “I like singing, I love music.”
