MANILA, Philippines – The Black Eyed Peas dance and all-hits concert on October 25 at the Mall of Asia open concert grounds is deemed to be one of the grandest concert experiences this year.
Futuretainment and Music Management International, the concert producers who brought Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Miley Cyrus and Thirty Seconds to Mars, said in a statement that over 10,000 fans from Beijing, Brunei, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Singapore, Shanghai and Taipei, aside from the local fans in Legazpi, Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Bacolod and Zamboanga are expected to fly to Manila to watch the BEP concert with the help of the country’s largest airline, Cebu Pacific, which offered a 50 percent discount on their flight fare!
The multi-Grammy Award winning and hottest selling group composed of rappers will.i.am (William Adams), Filipino apl.de.ap (Allan Pineda), Taboo (Jaime Gomez) and recently wed songstress Fergie (Stacy Ann Ferguson) are also equally excited to be back in the Philippines to perform their hits.
The crowd is expected to jump with them in “Boom Boom Pow,” “The Time-Dirty Bit,” “Let’s Get It Started,” “Imma Be Rocking That Body,” and “Don’t Stop The Party.”
Futuretainment head and actor Marvin Agustin believes the BEP is one of the greatest music groups of our generation.
“People from all walks of life can easily relate to their songs, they get inspired from their songs lyrics and lately, their songs move the crowd. Their concert is something special, something beyond entertainment. Good music and message! Definitely an experience only The Black Eyed can offer,” Agustin said.
Agustin has only good words for BEP member apl.de.ap or Allan Pineda, saying how the rapper “has steadily been an inspiration to us and having an awesome and powerful group such as the BEP to perform in the Philippines is such a great honor and privilege to the Philippines.” (advt)
