MARIAN Rivera can’t wait to be a mom.

MARIAN Rivera can’t wait to be a mom.

Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) all-time box-office king Vic Sotto and GMA 7 star Marian Rivera make a formidable team. They join forces for “My Big Bossing’s Adventures” (opens December 25), a trilogy of tales helmed by three directors, Tony Y. Reyes, Marlon Rivera and Joyce Bernal. Marian top-bills the second episode, “Taktak.” In true Bossing fashion, no expense was spared in the production. When Vic Sotto is at it, the sky’s the limit!

Here’s my tête-à-tête with Marian:

FEATURED STORIES

It was a breeze. We are on the same wavelength.

What excites you most about marriage?

Everything, especially the thought that I will wake up every day beside Dingdong (Dantes), the love of my life.

What scares you most?

I have nothing to be afraid of. I know I will enjoy every moment with my husband.

Did working with Ryzza Mae (Dizon) make you yearn to be a mother?

Definitely, and right away. Dong and I want to have as many kids as God will bless us with. Ryzza and I love to eat—we pig out on the set. At a young age, she already loves her job. I’m sure she will be around for a long time because of her exceptional talent.

Sugar and rice

KATHRYN Bernardo says fame has taught her to become more responsible.

KATHRYN Bernardo says fame has taught her to become more responsible.

Kathryn Bernardo is sugar and spice… and rice… as the new endorser of RBX Rice in a Box, hot fried rice and toppings in take-out boxes, for people-on-the-go. There are 100 outlets and counting. Unlimited rice, anyone? Unlimited charm? That is Kathryn’s asset.

Here’s my one-on-one with Kath:

What do you find hard to understand about boys?

The double standards. They can’t seem to figure out girls.

What stage is your relationship with Daniel Padilla in?

We have grown up and our friendship has become deeper.

What has fame and success taught you?

To become stronger and more responsible.

How would you handle it, if your love team with Daniel were abolished?

I would just have to accept it.

Do you have guilty pleasures?

Chocolates, bags and shoes.

Drool-worthy

I always thought it was Filipino pride that pushed many of my friends to trade branded phones and tablets for Smartmobile (SM) devices. Apparently, that’s only a bonus. I caught up with Slick Rick, Sam YG and Tony Toni recently. I must say their SMs are drool-worthy, especially KnightX. Get smart and make that switch!

Join our Tuesday Club at Chivz (G-Strip Greenhills) tomorrow, 8 p.m., for a gig headlined by my all-time fave band, True Faith. It’s a fundraiser for La Salle Green Archer cager Jonas Mariano, who recently suffered a stroke. It’s also the birthday of band frontman Med Marfil, my beloved friend. Let’s have fun while raising funds!
