LAV DIAZ’S “Prologo sa Ang Dakilang Desaparecido”
Today, the Inquirer Indie Bravo!-Fully Booked Film Festival marks Bonifacio Day with special screenings on the revolutionary hero: Mario O’Hara’s “Ang Paglilitis ni Andres Bonifacio” (4 p.m.), Lav Diaz’s “Prologo sa Ang Dakilang Desaparecido” (6 p.m.) and Raya Martin’s “Autohysteria” (8:30 p.m.).
The 30-minute Diaz film is preceded by lectures, with historian Xiao Chua (on Bonifacio as the first Philippine president) and film historian Teddy Co (on representations of Bonifacio in Philippine cinema).
Screenings will be held at the U-View of Fully Booked High Street, Bonifacio Global City.
