Musical treats for denim diehards

Levi’s gives Metro Manila the star-studded, music-filled “Live in Levis Customization Shop” starting today at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Atrium. Barbie Almalbis and True Faith frontman Medwin Marfil will entertain customers while they wait to have their jeans customized.

Up Dharma Down, Sponge Cola and Basti Artadi of Wolfgang take on the job tomorrow. The MOA treat goes on until Nov. 30.

Free customization is offered with a minimum single-receipt purchase of P3,000 on regular items in select Original Levi’s stores and department stores.

Customers only have to bring old pairs of Levi’s jeans for updating and customizing.

Socialized housing development BellaVita Land Corp. presents a free concert series, “Ang Saya-Saya sa BellaVita” with Original Pilipino Music artists.

The series starts in Lipa City’s Plaza Independencia tomorrow, with performers led by rapper Gloc-9. The second concert is set Nov. 30, 3 p.m. at SM City San Pablo with “It’s Showtime” host Karylle.

In both shows, boy band 1:43 will perform “Sa Isang Sulyap Mo,” “Ang Saya-Saya” and “Hayop sa Ganda.”

The band is composed of Anjo Resurreccion, Gold Aquino, Argee Golding and Yuki Sakamoto. They were declared most promising group at the 45th Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Awards.

Also performing in both shows are Fifth Dynamics, JBK, and Neo Domingo. Fifth Dynamics is fronted by former “The Voice of the Philippines” contender Mark Cordovales. JBK trio is composed of Joshua Bulot, Bryan del Rosario and Kim Nicolas. Domingo is a product of “X-Factor Philippines.”

Onse Tolentino of dzMM TeleRadyo and MOR Manila, a native of Lipa City, will join the Plaza Independencia concert. DJ Nicole Hyala of 90.7 Love Radio will host the event at SM City San Pablo.
