MANILA, Philippines — TV host Bianca Gonzalez and cager JC Intal will wed on December 10.
This was revealed by Gonzalez in a recent interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP). She did not give details about the venue but said it would be a church wedding that is “laidback and not so formal.”
“I mean people will still have to wear a coat and tie, and long dress, but kumbaga the feel, the program, it’s very chill lang.“Nothing na super formal na may releasing of the doves, cutting of the [cake]…walang ganun. Just probably the usual na magsi-speech yung some loved ones and then pagkain, ganun,” she said.
Kris Aquino will also be one of the sponsors.
Although they hired people to help them in the wedding preparations, Gonzalez said she is very “hands-on.”
“I always want to check updates. I made our “save-the-date” [announcement] on our own, even the lay-out of our invites. I want to make it on my own,” she said.
The honeymoon would have to wait for the two because of work and other commitments.
“As in after ng wedding, di ba, trabaho kami, as in the day after… ganung level. May practice siya, may work din ako,” Gonzalez said.
Intal plays for the Barako Bull in the Philippine Basketball Association.
He proposed to Gonzalez last March at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport when she was about to leave for London for a two-week study.
