James Yap’s Italian holiday with Mic Cazzola
James Yap and his tres belle girlfriend Mic Cazzola are back from their one-and-a-half month holiday in Mic’s homeland, Italy.
How sweet of Mic to send me a Viber message a few days after their arrival: “Sorry I didn’t text you since we got back because I’m super jet-lagged. Let’s go out soon.”
The trip definitely strengthened their bond. They have traveled together to so many places. May their next journey be to the altar!
Here’s my tête-à-tête with Mic:
What was the most memorable part of your holiday with James?

Our trip to Sicily.
What are the new things you learned about James during the trip?
Nothing really new. I just confirmed that we like to do the same things: Eating, road trips and sight-seeing.
What can Pinoys learn from Italians and vice versa?
Actually, we are very similar so there’s not much to learn. Like Pinoys, Italians are hospitable, religious, family-oriented and we love to eat, too.
What does your family think of James?
They appreciate his good manners.
If you and James would get hitched, where would you hold the wedding?
I want one in Italy and another ceremony in the Philippines.
Dingdong’s zest
Dingdong Dantes sizzles as a man torn between two wives in GMA 7’s “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real.”
Now he is all set to have a “Real Mrs.” in Marian Rivera. They will tie the knot on Dec. 30. Unlike most celeb couples who opt to wed in Boracay or Tagaytay, Dong and Yan chose Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral because it’s where Dong was baptized and where they usually pray together.
I fondly call Dong “Amigo” and he calls me “Amiga.” As a friend, Dong is the type who will stick with you through thick and thin. What more as a husband-to-be to Yan?
They complement each other. He has a soothing effect on Marian and she brings out the zest in Dong.
Here’s my one-on-one with Dong:
Update us on your wedding plans.
Marian and I are in the process of securing the blessing of all our principal sponsors. We are grateful that most of them have said yes.
How has “Mrs. Real” prepared you for marriage?
It taught me the importance of trust between husband and wife. Once trust is gone, respect and love will follow, too. I do not want that to happen in my own life.
What are your thoughts on infidelity?
I do not wish to judge others. But as human beings, we often encounter problems that test our character. What matters is how we rise from the situation.
What are your thoughts on jealousy?
It adds spice to a relationship.
What are your honeymoon plans?
No plans yet because we are focused on making the wedding meaningful.

Kapamilya honor
ABS-CBN’s “Tulong Na, Tabang Na, Tayo Na” campaign won the excellence award in the External Communications Programs for Cause Marketing category at the PANAta Marketing Effectiveness Awards.
Organized by the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA), PANAta recognizes effective communication materials based on improved business results, key brand metrics, improved business partner relationship, among others.
ABS-CBN’s campaign raised hundreds of millions worth of donations for survivors of Supertyphoon “Yolanda.” That’s the Kapamilya spirit!
