Stars shine at annual ball

MANILA, Philippines – It was another night when stars shone brightest as the 8th Star Magic Ball was held at the Makati Shangri-La on Saturday.
Couples and singles from ABS-CBN’s stable of stars were dressed to the nines as they paraded in their designer gowns and suits.
Richard Gomez and Gretchen Barretto were judged “Stars of the Night”; “Couple of the Night” were John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban; “Best Dressed Male and Female” were Paulo Avelino and Julia Barretto; Piolo Pascual and Iza Calzado were Moet and Chandon’s “Fabulous Pair of the Night”.
Other couples seen were Gerald Anderson and Maja Salvador, Jericho Rosales and wife Kim Jones.
Coco Martin and Sam Milby both came alone.
Miss World Megan Young was also at the event where she received a donation from the television network for a charity of her choice.
“The Voice” finalist Klarisse de Guzman performed “Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin”; Carla Guevara, JM Rodriguez, Gian Magdangal, Shiela Valderama, a number from Miss Saigon; and pop band Itchyworms ushering in the party. As tweeted by Marinel Cruz, Inquirer
