IRMA Adlawan in “Edna”

The Cinema Evaluation Board gave a grade of “A” to actor-director Ronnie Lazaro’s debut film, “Edna.” Lazaro told the Inquirer that the honor made him  “jump for joy.” But, he said, “It’s also humbling. For a first-time director, it feels amazing.” He expressed gratitude to his producer Anthony Gedang for the “trust and confidence,” and to his “superb cast and crew.” He was elated that both colleagues and critics congratulated him after the film’s premiere at the Cinemalaya recently.
