‘Edna’ debuts at indie fest

Actor Ronnie Lazaro’s directorial debut, “Edna,” premieres at the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival Thursday.

Screening is at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (Little Theater), 6:15 p.m. “Edna” stars Irma Adlawan in the title role of an overseas Filipino worker who returns to the country.

Also in the cast are Sue Prado, Kiko Matos, Mara Marasigan and Lazaro. Bayani San Diego Jr.
