G. Töngi is new host, producer of Los Angeles TV talk show

LOS ANGELES, California – Former Philippine movie star Giselle “G” Töngi is the new host and producer of Los Angeles’ #1 Asian TV station KSCI-TV LA18’s locally produced talk show, “Kababayan Today.”

As America’s first and only daily talk show for and about the Filipino American community, LA18 is “excited about the opportunity to associate with Töngi as she takes on the responsibility and opportunity to establish a new and expanding direction for the show,” the station said in press statement.

“Kababayan Today” provides a platform for discussion of significant local and international issues by featuring information coverage, interviews and distinguished guests.

The show remains the only Filipino media outlet in Southern California and Hawaii (syndicated on KIKU-TV) to engage the community at large daily.

The highly acclaimed talk show is the nation’s longest running locally produced daily program that has consistently featured resources relevant to Filipino Americans to help them thrive here in the U.S.
