Crooner Tony Orlando will perform in a one-night show on Wednesday, 8 p.m., at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. The singer recorded such hits as “Tie a Yellow Ribbon (’Round an Ole Oak Tree),” “Sweets for My Sweets” and “Knock Three Times,” among other classic pop ditties.

‘The Price of Everything’

In partnership with British Council Manila, the Peta Theater Center presents English artist Daniel Bye’s “The Price of Everything,” which will be staged on July 10 at the Peta Studios. Bye becomes the proverbial gadfly through this one-man “special performance lecture,” which combines stand-up comedy and storytelling. ‘Here Lies Love’ auditions

The Public Theater’s production of David Byrne and Alex Timbers’ hit musical “Here Lies Love” is holding auditions in Manila for the London production (in September), until today. Conceived by Byrne, “Here Lies Love” deconstructs the journey of former First Lady Imelda Marcos, retracing her rise to power and subsequent descent.

“Here Lies Love” is looking for actors aged 20 to 35 of various ethnic backgrounds with great singing voices. They must be proficient in English.
