‘Himala’ at SM Cinemas Sunday

MANILA, Philippines–The digitally restored version of Ishmael Bernal’s 1982 film “Himala” will have screenings Sunday at SM Cinemas in Metro Manila.

It will be shown at SM North Edsa at 1 p.m., SM Southmall at 3:10 p.m., and SM San Lazaro and 7:20 p.m.


“Himala,” top-bills award-winning actress Nora Aunor in her iconic role as Elsa, the faith healer who brings hope and misery to a small town.

“Himala” topped a CNN poll as the Best Asia-Pacific Film of All Time in 2008.
