James Yap admits fathering a child before marrying Kris Aquino

MANILA, Philippines — Kris Aquino’s ex-husband James Yap bared that he has another child aside from seven-year-old James “Bimby” Yap Jr.
Yap admitted in an episode of Anthony Taberna’s “Tapatan ni Tunying,” which will air on Thursday afternoon, that he has another child with a former girlfriend before he married Aquino.
“Actually, I want to thank my ex-girlfriend because no matter the issue I faced, she remained quiet and never spoke ill of me,” he said.
Aquino and Yap were married for seven years and were later annulled.
Yap also shared his plan to quit his basketball career in six years and focus into coaching students.
“I want to coach young people in high school. I want to share my experience with them. It would be great to help them, and see them play for the PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) someday,” he said.
