Herbert Bautista: I love Kris, but our relationship won’t work out

MANILA, Philippines—Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista said it was best if he does not revive his short-lived relationship with television host Kris Aquino.

In the “Yes or No” segment of the news program “Bandila,” Bautista on Friday night responded with a “no” when asked if he would court Aquino again.

He cited his love for his children as the reason “KrisTek” can never be.

“Hindi na… ‘Yung mga anak ko syempre. I love my children,” Bautista said.

The “KrisTek” relationship reportedly ended because the publicity badly affected Bautista’s children with ex Tates Gana and another woman.

But did Bautista love Aquino, who also happened to be the sister of President Aquino?

“Well, oo,” Bautista said after trying to evade the question in a fit of laughter.

“Wala na ako magagawa. Hindi na pwedeng (kami), hindi na,” he added.
