MANILA, Philippines – Television host-comedian Willie Revillame has denied he is hooked on gambling and frequenting casinos, Inquirer Bandera reported.
According to Cristy Fermin, a Bandera columnist, Revillame admitted going to a casino, winning and losing some money.
“Hindi niya itinatanggi na nagpupunta siya sa casino, ayon kay Willie ay dibersiyon lang naman ‘yun para sa kanya, natatalo siya at nananalo pero ang mahalaga ay ang salitang control,” according to Fermin’s article.
Revillame also denied he lost P6 million in a gambling bet and he had sold some of his properties.
