MANILA, Philippines—Stars have aligned for a concert, a silent one that is.
Arguably two of the biggest rock icons in Philippine music, Ely Buendia and Bamboo Mañalac would host a Silent Concert on May 8 at the Rockwell Tent.
And that the concert is a silent one, Buendia, frontman of the Eraserheads, and Mañalac, the frontman of his namesake band, would perform inside a studio while the audience would plug headphones to listen to the performance.
Under Sony Philippines’ “Music Deserves Respect” the two are the stars of the show that could usher in a new technologically savvy concert scene.
