A world without Michael Jackson. A harsh reality that was quite difficult to accept in the beginning–especially for music aficionados like myself–but something we all just had to accept.
And that is the way it has been since his sudden and tragic death five years ago. Yet, the legacy he has left behind can still be felt and continues to make waves in the entire music industry.
And to remind people that his music remains to have a profound effect on all of us, there will be a second posthumous studio-release from the King of Pop which will be made available very soon. This is another great opportunity for everyone to hear all-new unreleased material from the one and only Michael Jackson.
This is so fitting and feels just right that more of Michael Jackson’s recorded tracks which never got to see the light of the day when he was still alive will finally be heard by the public.
Undoubtedly, his music will continue to inspire and capture the imagination of people from around the world for decades and even in generations to come.
After all, Michael Jackson is truly a music legend!
But there is more to this developing news — especially, this particular information which was revealed just a few days ago — that a person with clout and influence in the music industry, like that of Epic Records CEO and Executive Producer L.A. Reid, personally took interest in handling and overseeing which among the unreleased tracks from Michael Jackson’s extensive library of yet-to-be released songs he had recorded throughout his career as a solo artist would be chosen and “modernized” first before being released out to the market.
MJ fans and music critics alike feel that this major task of helping ensure that we will get to hear more music from the King of Pop is left in the capable hands of L.A. Reid.
Here is additional information that has been made public and confirmed in numerous news agencies just recently.
“Xscape” will be the album title of the upcoming posthumous second studio-release from the late Michael Jackson and it will be made up of eight unreleased tracks.
I am very curious now to know from which decade or decades these songs will be taken in Michael Jackson’s amazing and absolutely brilliant solo career.
The confirmed release date for “Xscape” is May 13, 2014.
