It was inevitable. This pretty pair is headed straight to spiltsville. Could it be because of conflicting schedules and combustible personalities?

Stunning Star has been cranky as of late. Cute Sweetheart acts cool, like nothing is the matter. Are they still together?

A mole claims that the breakup rumors are false, that SS and CS are both just busy. Come to think of it, this idle chatter could be advance promotion for SS’ coming projects. SS is teaming up with another partner for those splashy ventures.

 

Drama expert

Veteran Thespian has put much-vaunted acting skills to good use. VT made a major boo-boo, two-timing Rich Lover and running away with RL’s hard-earned money.

Fearing jail time, VT asked forgiveness from RL—on bended knees. Pulling out all the stops, VT shed crocodile tears.

Well, VT learned from one of the country’s best acting coaches, another Former Benefactor. To say VT has been around is an understatement.

Unwanted baggage

Not a few celebs are getting antsy.

It has just been exposed that High-Profile Vendor sold faux luxury items, including some very pricey totes and accessories.

Some customers are in a state of panic, checking their purchases posthaste, making sure the goodies are authentic. Complaints are pouring in from clients who discovered they had bought counterfeit stuff.

A major legal scuffle is afoot; millions of pesos are at stake.

Recycling vixen

From the Inquirer Radio program “Inquirer Entertainment” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.):

Sultry Beauty can be beyond stingy. She showers her boylets with gifts but, once they part ways, SB insists that the presents be returned.

SB then gives the items—watches, gadgets and other trinkets—to her next beau.

Practical SB is doing Mother Earth a favor; she’s simply recycling.

Dragon breath

Lovely Starlet has an ugly problem. Seems constant dieting and a certain weight-

reduction pill have a nasty side effect.

Colleagues can barely stop from fainting every time LS opens her mouth. LS’ dragon breath was described by one unfortunate bystander, thus: “Like rotting trash.” Ew.

For those who missed this week’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

• Vhong Navarro, asked if his life was starting to normalize: “Mahirap sabihin na OK pero ginagawa ko lahat para maging OK … Kailangan lang lakasan ang loob ko.” (You’ll certainly need that for the legal battle ahead.)

• Vhong on his first appearance on “It’s Showtime” after a month: “Natatakot po ako sa lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay ko … Hindi ko alam kung magiging ako pa rin ’yung dating makulit at masayahin [na tao].” (No one who’s rational is expecting that.)

• Aiza Seguerra on fiancée Liza Diño making a surprise appearance on a recent show: “Namatay ako sa gulat, grabe tuwang tuwa ako.” (Eh, buhay ka na ba uli, bro?)

• Liza on her planned wedding to Aiza: “If things fall into place [when they should], baka gawin namin either January or February [next year] … Tingnan namin kung sa LA or New York.” (Wow, long preparation. Big party?)

• Aiza on being a father figure to Liza’s daughter: “She calls me ‘Baba.’ Of course I’m happy that we have a very good relationship … It’s all about the kid—creating a good environment for her despite the circus around us. We are working hard to give her that normalcy.” (Good luck on that, though it’s a challenge to all parents.)

• Aiza on planning to ask former “Be Careful with My Heart” costar Tom Rodriguez to be part of the wedding entourage: “Groomsman ’yun. Kinokontrata ko na. Sa kanya ako unang nagkuwento [nung nagkita ulit kami ni Liza], siya ang  nakakita kung gaano ako ka-excited. So sa everything, Tom was there.” (Huwaw! He sure can keep a secret.)

• James Yap on his recent meeting with ex-wife Kris Aquino, who earlier hinted about dating someone new: “Iba talaga nagagawa ng in love. Niloko ko nga siya, sabi ko: ‘Aba, iba ihip ng hangin ngayon! Merong in love dito ah! Good for you, I’m happy for you … Pagpi-pray ko kayo para wala na ring gulo sa part ko.’” (We’re praying along with you. You both deserve peace, and so do we.)

• James on asking Kris about the identity of the guy she’s dating: “Sabi ko, ‘Sino?’ Kasi magpapasalamat ako, luluhod ako sa kanya! Dahil sa kanya, naging OK kami [ni Kris].” (Sino nga ba? The last one had no name.)

• James on being reunited with Bimby after reaching an agreement with Kris regarding visitation rights: “Ito ’yung pinakamasaya na pagsasama namin [ni Bimby] …  Nakikipagkuwentuhan na, nakikipaglaro. • Jennylyn Mercado, asked about her ex-boyfriend getting back with Angel Locsin: “Ayoko nang mag-comment. I know it’s too soon but OK lang, eh ’yun ang desisyon [nila] … Out na ako du’n.” (That’s right, waaaaaaay out.)
