It was reported and confirmed just recently in numerous news agencies that P!nk has just signed a new multi-album deal with RCA records.

This is big news for the pop songstress who has managed to stay relevant since her major label debut ‘Can’t Take Me Home’ dating back to the year 2000 when she was still signed under LaFace records which label was later absorbed into RCA records in 2011.

Even now, when you mention the name of P!nk to some music aficionados, they are quite surprised to know that she is still performing and making music.

Her staying power in the music business is already undeniable at this point. When you check her track record of Billboard 100 hits and the statistics sheets of her record and ticket sales, as well as the gross earnings of her global concert tours, the numbers speak for themselves.

Plus, the fact that P!nk can compete neck-to-neck with the likes of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift proves her competitive edge and lasting appeal with listeners and music aficionados.

After 14 years of being a solo artist in the music industry, the 34-year old P!nk whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore shows no clear signs of slowing down anytime soon. She still embodies that rebellious spirit that music aficionados have grown to like about her.

P!nk has continually pushed the boundaries of pop music for many years. Sometimes she doesn’t get the credit she rightfully deserves. She was one of those artists responsible for effectively changing the public perception that pop music isn’t all “Bubblegum pop” made up mostly of cheesy lines, predictable themes, and run-of-the-mill production values.

Little by little, she broke those “rules” and with each succeeding studio-release, she was able to incorporate more and more of her own personality into her music. Easily, she is one of the most identifiable artists in the music industry.

And at this pivotal stage of her stellar career, there is no mistaking anymore whether P!nk is a global superstar or not.

She is definitely a global superstar!

With everything said, it looks like P!nk will be around for a long, long time.
