‘Nuwebe’ all over the world

Joseph Israel Laban’s “Nuwebe” will compete in various film festivals in the next two months. After the Jozi fest in South Africa (Feb. 21-23), “Nuwebe” goes to the Queens World Film Fest in New York (March 4-9), the Rome Int’l Film Fest (March 16-23) in Italy, CinemAsia Film Fest in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (April 1-6) and Cinematográfico Internacional in Montevideo, Uruguay (April 10-20). “Nuwebe” was an entry in last year’s Cinemalaya.
