MANILA, Philippines—Ferdinand “Vhong” Navarro admitted Sunday that he refused to talk to officers of the Southern Police District about the ordeal that he went through on Jan. 26 due to fears that it would enrage Cedric Lee.

The comedian said that he only wanted to get out of Taguig and return home as fast as he can, and not a minute later.

“I was afraid. I really wanted to get out of the place, get to my car and go home,” Navarro said in a television interview Sunday afternoon.

He said that he kept quiet because Cedric Lee and his friends were with him and that deterred him from telling what happened.

Navarro added that he just submitted to the demands of Lee due to fear.

“I was very afraid, so at that time I just gave in to their demands.”
