Younghusband denies other girl’s pregnancy caused breakup with Angel Locsin

MANILA, Philippines—Football player Phil Younghusband denied rumors that he was the father of the unborn child of Denisse Oca, daughter of veteran actress Melissa Mendez.
Younghusband, in a statement posted on Twitter, also stressed that it was not the reason for his break up with actress Angel Locsin.
“To put an end to the doubts and rumors, I am not the father of the baby of Denisse nor was it the reason Angel and I broke up,” Younghusband tweeted on Tuesday.
Oca, who was reportedly romantically linked with Younghusband back in 2011, has also repeatedly stressed that the Filipino-British striker wasn’t the father of her baby.
“I’ll tell people who the father is when I’m ready. Right now I just want to keep it private,” Oca said in a comment on the image-sharing site Instagram.
“One thing I can (say) for sure is that it is definitely not Phil’s and the rumors are not true. Thanks.”
Mendez also used Instagram to reach out to Locsin, asking that the young actress help her daughter “because [she] is being bashed re: your breakup with Phil, making false accusations.”
Younghusband asked for respect for all the parties in his tweet, and “let everyone be happy, and concentrate on their lives with their families and careers.”
The fresh rumors spread three months after Younghusband and Locsin parted ways, but Younghusband said that he and Locsin “ended on good terms.”
