5 PH films in Geneva

Five Filipino films will be shown in the Black Movie International Festival of Independent Films in Geneva, Switzerland, ongoing until Jan. 26.

Included in the festival lineup are Arnel Mardoquio’s “Ang Paglalakbay ng mga Bituin sa Gabing Madilim,” Joseph Israel Laban’s “Nuwebe” and Jeffrey Jeturian’s “Ekstra.”


Brillante Ma. Mendoza will exhibit two films as well: “Kinatay” and “Sapi.”

Black Movie fest features “emerging talents and established filmmakers from Asia, Africa and Latin America.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
