2 PH films in Pune

Two Filipino films are in the lineup of the 12th Pune International Film Festival, going on in India until Thursday. Joseph Israel Laban’s “Nuwebe” and Ronaldo M. Bertubin’s “Gayak” are included in the Global Cinema section. “Nuwebe” stars Jake Cuenca, Nadine Samonte and Barbara Miguel, while “Gayak” top-bills Alan Paule, Sef Cadayona and Evelyn Vargas.
