All set for Hollywood party of the year–71st Globes
LOS ANGELES – Will Jennifer Lawrence bring her new boyfriend, actor Nicholas Hoult, to Hollywood’s party of the year? Jennifer, a nominee, is one of the many stars expected to descend again on the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, this Sunday evening (tomorrow morning, Manila time) for the 71st Golden Globe Awards.
Once again, millions of viewers around the world will be watching the exciting proceedings that honor excellence in film and television. Many eyes will be glued on who’s sitting in the pit, the area closest to the stage.
Most star-studded
The Sony Pictures table is expected to have the most star wattage, owing to the cast of David O. Russell’s “American Hustle”: Jennifer, Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Amy Adams.
Sony will also have Tom Hanks and Barkhad Abdi, who made a sensational screen debut in “Captain Phillips.”

Most diverse
Fox Searchlight’s table is the most diverse: Michael Fassbender, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lupita Nyong’O and Julia Louis Dreyfus.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese will anchor the Paramount table.
Paramount will also have Bruce Dern who, at 78, is up for a Golden Globe award for “Nebraska”—35 years since the last time he earned a nomination.
The Warner Bros. table will have Sandra Bullock and Alfonso Cuaron, plus Joaquin Phoenix, Olivia Wilde and Spike Jonze.
Emma Thompson and Colin Farrell will lead the Disney contingent. Lionsgate will have Robert Redford.
Universal will have Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Bruhl and racing car legend Niki Lauda, whom Daniel plays to perfection, accent and all, in “Rush.”
Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto, both stunning in “Dallas Buyers Club,” will represent Focus.
CBS Films will be represented by its “Inside Llewyn Davis” actor, Oscar Isaac.
