Rihanna, Ewan McGregor, others tweet support for PH typhoon victims
MANILA, Philippines—With the number of fatalities rising to nearly 2,000 caused by Supertyphoon “Yolanda” (international name Haiyan) help comes from all over the world.
Entertainment celebrities who’d been in the Philippines like Rihanna, Christina Aguilera and Jared Leto (of rock band 30 Seconds To Mars) were the first who tweeted their concerns for the typhoon victims.
Rihanna: “Navy, please keep the people of The Philippines in your prayers! I was just there and this truly breaks my heart.”
