Ah, to be young, gorgeous and… silly!
Bickering starlets have yet to smoke the peace pipe.
At a recent event, BS1 got antsy because Former Flame was supposed to escort BS2.
To upstage BS2, BS1 reportedly booked a plush hotel suite for loyal pals to hang out in before and after the splashy occasion.
Of course, BS2 was not invited, but she heard about BS1’s feeble attempt to get even. Not to be outdone, BS2 rented an equally pricey place for her own cohorts and colleagues.
Ah, to be young, gorgeous and dreadfully shallow.

Before GB, GH was with Seasoned Gay, a veritable “brand” in the lifestyle circle. And before SG, it was Notorious Personality, who’s much-loathed in the entertainment industry.
NP was responsible for spreading GH’s scandalous pics online. What a track record!
Meds maven
Coworkers have always wondered about the dizzying mood swings of Glib Celebrity.
The mystery was solved when the staff overheard GC’s conversation with Resource Speaker from the psychiatry profession.
RS and GC were chatting about meds that manage manic-depression among patients. GC sounded way too familiar with the drugs, intermittently admitting, “I used to take those pills.” No wonder!
Mommager from hell
From Radio Inquirer program “Kliq Showbiz” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.):
Promising Teener vanished from the scene for a spell.
Studio bosses reportedly dropped PT because of Demanding Mommager’s lousy behavior.
DM grew desperate and supposedly instructed PT to seduce rich gay men who could bail them out of dire straits.
Calling Bantay Bata!
Downward spiral
From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
Sexy Starlet was once the toast of Tinseltown. A gambling addiction, however, left SS penniless. She has hit rock bottom.
SS is often seen wandering around casinos, dazed and disheveled. That she resorted to selling her body is pretty obvious. But now that she is no longer as alluring as before, she has turned to begging.
She has also been seen eating diners’ leftovers in the high-rollers’ joint.
Glowing pink skin
Pink cheeks in the morning… as Diana Ross used to sing (or something like that) is Lucy Torres-Gomez’s gauge of a good night’s sleep, plus, “waking up with my skin glowing.”
She is serious. And she swears by rituals of creams and potions, and a high-end product she is now endorsing: Tempur mattresses.
Mrs. Richard Gomez doesn’t deny it is a very expensive mattress. But, she insists, “it is a must-have. It is our bed that welcomes us at the end of every day. It is our refuge. It has to be a
happy place, something to look forward to, an everyday retreat.”
Sounds almost like a person.

Top of the Talk Shows
For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):
Claudine Barretto on her new hairdo: “New look, positive outlook sa buhay. ’Yun lang ’yun.” (A haircut doesn’t fix things. But if it makes you feel better…)
Raymart Santiago on being labeled as a “battered husband”: “Hahaha!” (Ditto.)
Aljur Abrenica on his best physical asset: “’Yung mata ko. Sabi nila expressive.” (Spin a win!)
Alden Richards on his best physical asset: “Siguro ’yung rear ko.Sometimes sa ‘Sunday All Stars’ gusto nilang pinapalo, eh.” (Talk about honest!)
Tom Rodriguez on his best physical asset: “Leeg, noo at batok.” (Batok? We can cite a few more.)
Dennis Trillo on his best physical asset: “Mata na lang. Mata-mata na lang ’yan.” (We’ll take that. Plus the rest of you.)
Kris Bernal on working with “Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko” leading man Aljur: “Iba pa rin talaga ’yung hugot ng emosyon ko, mas malalim talaga.” (If we had one peso for every time we heard
this expression… )
Marian Rivera on fans fighting over who turned out the most beautiful in the Rogue magazine cover she shared with Judy Ann Santos, Charlene Gonzalez, Anne Curtis and Angel Locsin: “Siyempre lahat ng tao may kanya-kanyang opinyon ’yan, eh. Hayaan na natin sila.” (Ba’t parang defensive?)
(And we are so lost here.)
Marian, asked if she’s willing to promote “Kung Fu Divas” in “It’s Showtime,” where Dingdong Dantes’ ex-girlfriend Karylle is one of the hosts: “Kahit saan OK lang basta papayagan ako ng network ko.” (Did she hear the part about Karylle?)
Mark Herras, asked if he’s ready for a new relationship after breaking up with Ynna Asistio: “’Di pa… mahirap pagsabayin ang relationship at trabaho.” (Hindsight. Precious.)
Mark, asked if he has moved on: “We’re okay. We’re still friends. ’Yung closeness namin ’di pa rin nawawala.” (Nadia, agree?)
Manny Pacquiao on bankruptcy rumors: “Hindi ’yan [pera] importante sa mundo. Ang importante ’yung kaligtasan natin. Kung ano ibibigay ng Panginoon, pasalamat na lang tayo.” (This is not the answer we seek.)
Manny on people spreading those rumors: “I love you, I love them. Guard your heart, guard your heart… Ipag-pray ko na lang.” (Still no answer.)
Manny on being forced to walk and ride the MRT last week due to heavy traffic: “Anything basta word of God.” (What’s wrong with, “Kasi matrapik?”)
Kylie Padilla, asked if she’s going to watch Aljur at the coming Cosmo Bachelor Bash: “Hindi, busy ako.” (Kami, hindi!))
Maja Salvador on bashers: “Sa lahat naman ng intriga, may totoo, may hindi. Kaming mga artista, siyempre alam namin kung ano talaga nangyayari sa paligid namin.” (Care to enlighten us?)
Ryan Agoncillo on contracting dengue fever for the second time: “Buti na lang ako ’yung tinamaan at ’di ’yung mga anak ko. Mas mahirap.” (Research indicates that kids have it easier. But we get your drift. Good daddy.)
Jessy Mendiola, asked if there were lots of guys trying to get to know her: “Marami, ayokong magsinungaling.” (Utterly believable.)
Charice on girlfriend Alyssa Quijano: “Nung day na naging kami, dream come true sa ’kin… dahil first time kong naipaglaban nang sobra yung taong mahal ko.” (Huwaw! Kuya, ikaw na talaga!)
Charice, asked if she wanted to marry Alyssa: “Malinaw sa akin. Nakikita ko siya sa future ko… ’di ko masasabing matagal pa. Siya na talaga.” (You’re young, guys. Keep the future open.)
Aiza Seguerra’s advice for Charice: “All that she’s been going through, I’ve been there. It wasn’t that easy for me, either. Kumbaga, for more than a year, you’re in conflict with your
family… take in whatever you need to take in. Ilabas mo sa buhay mo ang dapat mong ilabas. After that, you’ll emerge stronger.” (Well, well. Well said!)
Aiza on rumored girlfriend Liza Diño: “The closest word that comes to mind… I just feel complete… She’s the type of person for whom you want to be your best… because she deserves it. She just makes me the happiest.” (Sarap naman. Ikaw na rin!)
Kris Aquino on son Bimby and Ryzza Mae Dizon, who will be starring in the movie “My Little Bossings”: “Ang nakikita ko lang talaga is that nagtutulungan sila. Pero napapansin ko na medyo may shyness pa nang kaunti kay Ryzza.” (Why do we find that hard to believe?)
Kris on her love life: “No comment talaga kasi I deserve privacy and happiness.” (Finally.)
Billy Crawford on being linked to Andi Eigenmann: “I already apologized to Andi dahil nadadamay siya sa personal life ko. I don’t mean anyone harm. Kaya ayaw ko na lang magsalita kasi they already made up their mind at hahaba lang nang hahaba.” (Good call, for yourself and for the rest of us.)
